Do27config Net Framework unhandled exception?

Hi
I have XP 64 bit wit Net Framework 2, 3 and 3.5 installed.
After running Do27config.exe I have got this:

If I choose continue, configurator opens but I cannot save any change in settings.
What should I do. I manually add 2D panel.

I have the same problem on XP x64. It is annoying!

Looks like the config tool couldn't find the FSX folder. Please check if your registry contains the correct FSX path. If it doesn't, you can restore it using Flight1's FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool: http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library

I have fs9, and I'm sure that I don't have any kind of registry problems.
Maybe some other solutions.

Hello Hans and thank you for taking the time to reply!

I also have FS9. Additionally, I ran the repair tool and it did not help to remove the error.

I run a XP x64 system here and my 32bit software is installed into "Program Files (x86)". Usually no software has a problem with this, but in this case... Who knows?

Any other ideas?
